We started by asking faculty and staff where work gets difficult. Their answers helped us develop representative workflows to test whether SCOUT can actually help.
Here are a few of the kinds of questions we’re using to put SCOUT through its paces.
These aren’t scripted demos. SCOUT is probabilistic, so responses may vary—and that’s part of what we’re testing during Early Access.
As we learn more, we’ll add real examples showing how SCOUT responded, where it succeeded, and where we found opportunities to improve.
Trust the Source, Not Just the Answer
SCOUT can make mistakes. That’s why answers grounded in university knowledge include citations whenever possible.
Use those citations to see where the information came from, read the original source, and verify important guidance before acting on it.
If something looks wrong, use the thumbs up/down controls to flag the response for review.
